General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: T&C) apply to all guest accommodation contracts concluded between the hostess, Ms. Sylvia Dannewitz, and the guest. By confirming a booking, the guest acknowledges these T&C. All bookings or reservations, whether by telephone, in writing, by fax, etc., are subject to these general terms and conditions. A guest accommodation contract is binding as soon as the vacation rental has been ordered and confirmation has been given. The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract obliges the guest to fulfill the contract.

The duration of accommodation begins on the agreed arrival day at 3:00 PM and ends on the agreed departure day at 10:30 AM.

Should the guest unexpectedly withdraw from the booked trip, the hostess's claim to payment of the agreed fee remains. The guest should address the written cancellation notice to FeWo-Channelmanager.de for organizational reasons. Taking out trip cancellation/interruption insurance is recommended for these reasons. Depending on the date of receipt of a cancellation notice, the following rates are generally charged: a) for cancellations less than 1 day before arrival: 90% of the agreed fee b) for cancellations up to 1 day before arrival: 80% of the agreed fee c) for cancellations up to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the agreed fee d) for cancellations up to 30 days before arrival: 35% of the agreed fee e) for cancellations up to 45 days before arrival: 20% of the agreed fee

After receipt of the booking confirmation, a deposit of generally 20%, in individual cases up to 30%, is due within 10 days. The balance payment must be made 14 days before arrival. The guest is obligated to make advance payment. All payments (deposit/balance) are made directly to the hostess's account, which will be communicated to the guest after completion of the booking. For 14 or fewer days between booking and arrival, the entire travel price must be paid to the hostess's account. Any deviating arrangements for short-term bookings must be discussed directly with the hostess. Payment costs, especially for transfers from abroad, are borne by the guest. All bank transfer fees must be borne entirely by the guest, meaning the full invoice amount must be credited to the hostess's bank account without charges. Only payments by bank transfer or, by arrangement, cash payments are accepted.

Smoking: It is generally prohibited to smoke in the rooms/apartment. It is also prohibited to smoke in the stairwell. The smoking ban serves both fire protection and to avoid odor nuisance for subsequent guests and residents of the house. Guests who do not observe the prohibition will be charged €50.00 for extra cleaning!

Guests of the apartment/rooms are liable for any damage, loss of inventory, loss of keys for the house entrance door as well as apartment door and the accommodation. If a subsequent impairment of the further rental of the apartment is caused, the damage causer is also liable for this. This also includes damages due to resulting rental loss from the time of damage until the defect is remedied. Liability claims are generally always directed to the contractual partner. The guest is obligated to contribute what is reasonable to remedy the disruption and keep possible damage to a minimum.

No liability is assumed for valuables such as money, securities, jewelry, media devices in case of loss in the apartment/rooms. The hostess is not liable for simple negligence. Excluded from this are damages to the guest resulting from injury to life, body, or health caused by negligent breach of duty by the hostess or intentional or negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent of the hostess.

The correction of errors as well as printing and calculation errors is reserved. German law applies. Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions for guest accommodation be or become ineffective or void, this does not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. Instead of invalid provisions, a valid regulation that comes as close as possible to them applies. Otherwise, the legal provisions apply.

Please note that the apartment is a non-smoking apartment! The apartment and stairwell are equipped with highly sensitive smoke detectors. Throwing combustible objects out of windows is prohibited! Please use our garden for your smoking break. In case of fire: Fire extinguishers are located 1x in the stairwell and 1x in the apartment.

Please ensure that the front door is closed again after entry. Sharing keys for the house and apartment door as well as WIFI access data with strangers and unregistered guests is prohibited!

Please use the free parking spaces on our residential street in Kramerstraße.

To avoid misunderstandings, we ask all persons (guests and also visitors of guests) to register. A change in the registered number of persons must be communicated to the landlord immediately. Persons who are not registered with us are staying unauthorized and will be asked to leave the house!

In principle, we do not deny any guest a time-limited, short (up to two-hour) visit. Overnight visitors are not permitted! The overnight stay of an additional guest will be charged to the pension guest (contractual tenant of the apartment) afterwards. We point out that persons not registered in the house commit trespassing and will be asked to leave the house.

Waste must be disposed of in separate containers. Please observe the information in the apartment!

Pets are not allowed.

Please ensure that all windows are closed and make sure that all electrical devices (except the refrigerator) are turned off. When departing, hang the keys for the house and apartment door on the hallway wardrobe and simply pull the apartment door closed behind you.
